These are great. I got them for hunting and fishing but I wear them mostly for winter golf because golf shoes are not insulated and there is no room for insulated socks in snug fitting golf shoes. I wear them under a thin pair of regular socks and they keep my feet warm for a full round of golf on the low setting.
The only reason I don’t give them five stars is the absence of a remote method to change the heat setting. I have worn them for hunting and under waders in cold water and it’s a pain to change the setting because the control is under your pants or waders. I bought zippered pants for hunting just so I could access the controls, which was a work around, but an added expense.
IMO these are five stars if you don’t need to change settings or you have easy access to the controls, or you have figured out the best setting for your application through trial and error and you can set it and forget it.
So for me, they are 4 or 5 stars depending on the application and well worth the purchase price.

Saved my feet! I was immersed in the Manistee River in MI for hours while fishing for trout in April. It was COLD. My feet stayed warm all day! All this compared to last year, where I just wore my wool socks. My feet were numb for days.

I bought the heated socks to wear skiing. Unfortunately the ski resorts have closed and I haven’t had the chance to wear them. As I inspected them , they appear well made. They warm up quickly.
