Ghost Pocket is our Faraday-lined storage feature, designed to shield devices from wireless signals when the shielding compartment is fully closed. Available in select modular pouches and our laptop sleeve.
Explore Ghost PocketPut your device fully inside the designated Ghost Pocket. An ordinary outer pocket does not provide the same shielding.
Fully secure the shielding closure. Keep cables and other items clear of the opening so they do not leave a gap.
Check the wireless function you intend to block with your own device. Remove it when you want to reconnect.
The feature applies to the designated Ghost Pocket. A backpack or rolling bag that accepts a Ghost accessory does not automatically shield everything inside.
MOD-1 and MOD-MP use hook-and-loop mounting strips for compatible MOLLE webbing. MOD-MP adds a magnetic outer closure. The laptop sleeve uses locking magnetic attachments and is listed for laptops up to 15 inches; check your device dimensions before ordering.
Shielding depends on the device, frequency, closure, and condition of the lining. Do not expect calls, messages, or connected services to arrive while the relevant signal is blocked. Shielding does not erase stored data or turn a device off.
No. Ghost Pocket is designed for wireless signal shielding while properly closed. It is not a promise of anonymity, protection from every threat, or a substitute for device security.
A Faraday enclosure uses conductive material around a device to reduce radio-frequency signals entering or leaving it. Ghost Pocket applies that principle to a dedicated storage compartment. Gaps in the closure can compromise shielding.
