I,am a bowhunter in late fall and i got the heated gloves too help hold the bow in cold weather.

I’ve been out west skiing at our place for 8 days. Two of the four first days I skied in 26 degrees. I found the white setting with fleece finger mittens was comfortable. After two hours I went to red. About an hour later I went back to white. A good test with mittens would be 18 degrees to 26. I never got to test in my 5 finger Gortex gloves. Hope that helped

These work very well as a liner. I have a severe cold sensitivity due to chemo treatments that affect my fingers most and these have been great keeping my fingers warm under my mittens during some very cold hikes and dog walks. It gets below 0 regularly in ND. I recommend turning them on a couple minutes before you put them on for best results. The battery is a little bulky. I think I’m going to try the Windblocker SL for a stand alone lightweight glove and for driving next. They might work as liner as well.

So here is what I love about these liner gloves. I had the original liner gloves and gave them to my mom, went to buy another pair and they are sold out so I debated and decided to give these a try. I like these even better! They are more like liners, and the mit is so thin that it doesn’t feel awkward if you aren’t using it, but if you do use it, it traps the heat in perfectly. My other liners were great for driving, if I had my hands in my pockets etc but I like the option of pulling this mitt over your fingers when you’re out in the wind.
