I had been waiting on this jacket for a long time and it was out of stock. I had asked for a notice when it was back in stock and when I recieved my email it was in stock again, I ordered it right away. This jacket did not disappoint, it is perfect. The jacket is as advertised. I have Raynauds and stay cold. It is a perfect light to medium weight jacket that I had looked for, and finally found. The hand cuffs are a great addition to this jacket. Now I can stay warm without the weight of a heavy jacket. The quality is fantastic, it truly is a perfect addition to my wardrobe. It looks amazing on. I love the hoodie, my only complaint is that the control buttons should have been inside the jacket (as with the heated Vest I have). It's very hard to see if the Hoddie is on or off, because of the position of the controls. Also, it should have come with an adapter to be able to use a USB plug in addition to the barrel connector.

Bought this for my husband for our anniversary. He likes to hangout in our garage and he has a heater. But it doesn't heat the whole garage very well. So I had got him a heated chair but I thought this would help keep him warmer. I also wanted product made in America. He was surprised and he loved the hoodie. The hoodie itself is warm and comfortable. Also love the hand warmers in the hoodie. Will be ordering another for myself. Would like though if it came in gray.

This is my 4th order from this company. I absolutely love their heated hoodie. The second one I bought for myself as a replacement because the battery pack was upgraded. The other two were gifts and they were well received. My newest issue was with the larger battery pack it’s a little too heavy and the edges are just a little too sharp so they’ve started wearing holes in the battery pocket.

Love my new heated hoodie! ESPECIALLY love that is designed here in Detroit. The heated hand cuffs are the best! Very impressed with how long it stays heated off of one charge. I would absolutely recommend this hoodie to anyone with cold hands living in a cold state like MIchigan. Now I am eyeing the heated base layer, may have to buy that for myself next.

Great quality sweatshirt! Only 1 issue is the right arm has the wires going over the top of my forearm. When I put it on I get caught sometimes. Other than that it's 100% quality! Highly recommend!

My order arrived FASTER than expected. The Hoodie is already warm, and when activated, the heating is just enough to take the edge off quickly. I do wish it had a warmer in the hood, like the hooded shell does. I would rather have that than the hand warmers.

Great material and build quality. A little on the hot side on the highest setting, but I guess that's the point. I find myself turning the heaters off and letting the residual heat keep me warm until I want to turn them back on again. The insulation must be pretty good. The heat stays trapped inside.
I'm glad it's machine washable. I've tried other heated clothes and frankly they suck because they're always in my dirty laundry waiting to be hand-washed. I never use them. This one is just a simple wash and hang to dry, which is much more convenient. The other brands I've tried didn't have the heated hands. I definitely prefer this one.

I am considering purchasing this item in bulk as part of the uniform for my employees. I own one and I wear it most days. I feel it would be a wise choice to give to my ski instructors for daily wear. I originally purchased this item to wear underneath my usual ski jacket for an extra layer of warmth. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it was warm enough that I now no longer even need my old ski jacket.

This is my best weapon in the ongoing war to get the rest of my family to be “outdoorsy” with me. I've purchased four of these so far, one for each of us. We took a family hike to Clifton Gorge this past Saturday and, for once, nobody complained about being cold and uncomfortable! We did joke that it's our new family “uniform” because we were all in matching black hoodies. My kids will probably thank me for buying some different colors if new colors become available. Other than that, I can't recommend this hoodie highly enough.

I LOVE the fact that I can adjust the heat settings. On mildly chilly days, the low setting is more than enough. I'm pretty sure I'll be comfy and cozy all winter long with the high setting. And this is coming from a girl who constantly feels a half-second away from being frozen solid, so that's saying something. I put a cute little embroidered rose on the velcro patch, for just a pinch of feminine touch! :)

No more spending money on hock pack hand warmers
My wife bought this for me as a gift. I sized up because I'm a pretty big guy, but the XL probably would have done the trick. I'm used to sticking Hot Hands patches in my pockets and then just shoving my hands in my pockets whenever I get a chance during the work day. This heated hoodie is a much better solution. My hands stay warm all day! And I never realized how much I needed the heated chest and back zones until I tried them. The biggest problem I have with this product is that now I'm completely spoiled and could never go back to my normal jacket/Hot Hands setup.
It would be cool if the LED battery indicator had a setting for “CHARGE ME RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I'M ALMOST OUT OF BATTERY” because when the light turns red, I know I still have 158 minutes left, so I tend to procrastinate and not charge it... But that's my own fault. When I use it as advertised, it works perfectly.
I was really surprised how much of a difference it makes to have the carbon-fiber heat distributors in the heating zones. Again, just comparing to my usual Hot Hands patches, this hoodie heats much more evenly and more comfortably than I'm used to.
I haven't been able to find any other manufacturers that build the hand warmers into the sleeves themselves, so I'll definitely buy another one of these if I wear this one out someday!

My expectations are exceeded
One thing I haven't seen other reviewers mention yet is that the seams and zipper on this hoodie are really well-stitched. I hate it when seams rip and the whole thing unravels, or the zipper pulls away from the rest of the material. I always pay really close attention to that sort of thing. Must be my seamstress mother's voice in my head. This hoodie seems really sturdily sewed, so it should last a long time.

I got this thing to wear so I can keep up my exercise routine outside during the winter. There's no way I'd still be forcing myself to go outside and go for runs if it weren't for the heated chest, back, and hands. Exercise is miserable to begin with, so at least I can be comfy and warm while doing it...
A few things I should mention. I'm a big guy. Like, fat big. I was concerned about the added bulk of the heaters and batteries making me look even fatter (I really don't need more mass on me) but the hoodie actually fits great and is very streamlined. I really appreciate the thumb holes in the cuffs, too, because they keep the sleeves from riding up while I'm running.
The “smart pre-heat” setting is GENIUS. Sometimes I pre-heat the jacket, put it on, and just sit for a few minutes before I go outside, and it's like a warm-up before I even start moving!
I only charge it once a week or so, it really doesn't need it more than that, for 20-30 minute running sessions. Once I start going longer I might need to charge it more, but for now, I barely have to think about it.

This hoodie is awesome. I don't normally splurge on fancy stuff for myself. Since I did, I figured I should come back and write a proper review.
First of all, this is way higher quality than the one from Milwaukee, in my opinion. I tried theirs a while back, but I like this one a lot better.
The pros:
I really like the fact that I can customize the heating zones! If my back is warm, the rest of me is warm, so I pretty much just turn on the back heater and I'm good to go.
The heating lasts surprisingly long. I can make it last through most of a workday if I turn it off while I'm inside for lunch.
The battery LED is a must, mostly because it reminds me to charge it when I get home.
80% cotton is really good. Do you know how hard it is to find natural fibers in hoodies these days? I'm definitely a plain cotton kind of guy.
I was sort of worried the battery packs would be bulky and noticeable, but they're not noticeable at all.
I'm an army vet, so I really appreciated being able to velcro my own army patch onto the jacket.
The cons:
I forgot it wasn't machine dryable for a minute. Luckily I caught myself before I turned the dryer on. Not a huge deal, just something I almost screwed up.
I want more colors!

I bought this as a gift for my son who works outside in the Canadian winter. He said the heated hoodie has been a complete lifesaver, and he wants another one. Another man on his crew got frostbite on his fingers a few winters ago, so it was the built-in hand warmers that convinced me to buy this. I looked all over the place, and I'm convinced this must be the only company that makes jackets with built-in hand warmers. I couldn't find them anywhere else! I'm glad I found this one. As a mom, now I have one fewer thing to worry about!
